The build to WWE Evolution 2025 has officially begun as the first match for the event has been confirmed.
During the June 10th broadcast of NXT, General Manager Ava announced that Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne would put her title on the line at the all-women’s Premium Live Event the following month. A series of singles will determine Jayne’s challenger matches that will see the winners from each face off. Whoever emerges as the victor will become the new number one contender to the Women’s Championship.
The competitors in the mini tournament are as follows:
- Lash Legend vs. Kelani Jordan
- Zaria vs. Izzi Dame
- Thea Hail vs. Jaida Parker
- Lola Vice vs. Jordynne Grace
Jayne shockingly won the title by defeating Stephanie Vaquer on the May 27th episode of NXT. With Vaquer now a member of the Raw roster, multiple members of the NXT women’s division have made their case to be first in line at the new champion.
WWE Evolution 2025 Coming To Atlanta
After months of speculation, it was finally confirmed at Saturday Night’s Main Event that Evolution would be making its long-awaited return on July 13th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will be part of a weekend takeover of the city, which will also include the next iteration of the Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
Booker T has also made an interesting pitch for WWE Evolution.
