A AEW championship will be defended under Ladder match rules at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

As seen on the May 17th edition of AEW Dynamite, TNT Champion Wardlow will put the title on the line against Christian Cage.

Wardlow called out Cage in the opening segment, where Cage came to the ring accompanied by Luchasaurus. The beatdown would end when Christian Cage would strike the TNT Champion with a ladder.

Later in the show, Wardlow was seen in the medial team being tended to. The champion the spoke directly to the camera, issuing the challenge for a ladder match with the TNT Championship hanging above the ring.

The updated line-up for AEW Double or Nothing is as follows:

• MJF (c) vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy – 4-Way match for the AEW World Championship
• FTR (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal – Tag team match for the AEW Tag Team Championships. Mark Briscoe will serve as the special guest referee
• Wardlow (c) vs. Christian Cage – Ladder match for the TNT Championship
• Orange Cassidy (c) vs. 20 competitors TBA – 21 man blackjack battle royal for the AEW International Championship
• Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Toni Storm – Singles match for the AEW Women’s Championship
• The Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Elite – Anarchy In The Arena
