FTR will be in action at the next AEW pay-per-view.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will defend the AEW Tag Team Championships against the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.

FTR came out to address the challenge made by Lethal and Jarrett on the May 10th edition of Dynamite. After initially refusing the challenge, Mark Briscoe would come to the ring. Briscoe announced that the match would take place at the pay-per-view, and he would serve as the special guest referee.

A brawl would ensue between the two teams, with a blinded Harwood accidentally attacking Briscoe as Lethal and Jarrett fled from the ring.

The updated card for AEW Double or Nothing is as follows:

• MJF (c) vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy – 4-Way match for the AEW World Championship
• FTR (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal – Tag team match for the AEW Tag Team Championships. Mark Briscoe will serve as the special guest referee
