Sami Zayn has signed a new deal with WWE, according to a new report. According to Fightful Select, Zayn has signed a new deal with the promotion, which will last for “Several more years.”
Sami Zayn’s contract status has been a talked about topic in recent months. It has been widely rumoured that the former Intercontinental Champion may let his contract expire, seemingly facilitating a movw to a rival promotion in the near future. However, it appears that the SmackDown star will not be leaving WWE anytime soon.
Zayn has been prominently featured on SmackDown in recent weeks. Not only has Sami recently faced Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, Zayn has also been involved in a celebrity storyline on the blue brand. Sami Zayn has frequently interacted with Johnny Knoxville on SmackDown, seemingly setting up a Royal Rumble showdown in recent weeks.
It should also be noted that Zayn’s frenemy Kevin Owens has also recently penned a new deal with WWE, meaning that both Zayn and Owens will be a part of WWE for a number of years moving forward.
