Roman Reigns targeted The Bloodline once again on WWE SmackDown.
Returning at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns looks to reestablish himself as the true Head of the Table and take down Solo Sikoa following The Enforcer’s actions since WrestleMania. Additionally, new Women’s Champion Nia Jax celebrated her title triumph at SummerSlam in a ceremony organised by Tiffany Stratton.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- Following a recap of Roman Reigns’ return to SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton opened the show. Accompanied by Pretty Deadly, Stratton introduced Nia Jax, who received a regal entrance as Queen of the Ring and Women’s Champion. Wade Barrett saying that the ceremony beat anything the British Royal Family have done was a great line. Jax stated that the decorations were not really her style. Jax demanded Stratton bow down to her, but instead Pretty Deadly sang a song. Mia Yim interrupted with a kendo stick and cleared the ring
- Carmelo Hayes defeated Andrade
- Blair Davenport defeated Naomi. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez was in the audience
- Kevin Owens defeated Grayson Waller. Owens attempted to powerbomb Waller onto the apron after the match but was saved by Theory. Cody Rhodes came to Owens’ aid. NXT Champion Ethan Page was seen in the crowd
- A tribute video played for Afa Anoa’i, who passed away the day of the show
- The Street Profits defeated DIY to become the new number one contenders for the Tag Team Championships
- Solo Sikoa called out Roman Reigns, who took out all of The Bloodline before being blindsided by Jacob Fatu to allow Sikoa and co to stand tall and close out the show
