WWE SmackDown Preview September 18

The new WWE Champion will appear live and more on the September 18 SmackDown as the company makes its return to the United States.

The main event of the September 11 show ended in shocking fashion as Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk to win the WWE Championship for the second time in his career. The ending of the match saw Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Kevin Owens all getting involved, resulting in Zayn capitalising to pick up the big win in Mexico. Zayn has been announced to appear live on the show. Zayn will likely celebrate his big win and speak about what is next for him as champion.

Currently, Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice have all qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder matches. More qualifiers are set to take place on the show. At the time of writing, no participants have been announced for the matches.

Looking to bounce back from his loss to Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes is also scheduled to appear on the show. Rhodes will be part of a sit-down interview.
