Money in the Bank qualifying matches have been announced for the September 25 edition of WWE SmackDown.
On the September 18 show, Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne each qualified for their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. With limited spots remaining, the latest qualfiers have been announced for next week’s show. On the men’s side, former World Champions CM Punk, Gunther and Finn Balor will all look to advance to the Premium Live Event. On the Women’s side, Giulia, Charlotte Flair and Lash Legend are all looking to advance. Currently, Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice join Williams and Jayne as confirmed entrants.
The main event of the latest SmackDown saw Sami Zayn successfully defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, albeit with an assist from CM Punk. While not announced, it is expected that what’s next for Zayn will be addressed on the show.
September 25 WWE SmackDown Line-Up:
- Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Finn Balor vs. CM Punk vs. Gunther
- Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Giulia vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Lash Legend
