WWE SmackDown Preview November 22

A major face to face, the continuation of the Women's United States Championship Tournament and more will take place on WWE SmackDown.

The Women’s United States Championship Tournament and more will take place on WWE SmackDown.

On last week’s SmackDown, the tournament began to crown the first-ever Women’s United States Champion with Bayley advancing to the next round. Another first-round match will take place on the show between Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport and Chelsea Green.

Kevin Owens was recently suspended from SmackDown following his brutal attack on Randy Orton that included a banned piledriver. Following Cody Rhodes pleading with Nick Aldis to let him handle things, Rhodes and Owens will meet face to face on the show. According to previous reports, it is expected that this will lead to another match between Rhodes and Owens, this time at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th.

It should also be noted that this will be a double taping as the November 29th episode of SmackDown will be taped immediately afterwards. The reason for this is so that the roster and employees are able to have time off for the Thanksgiving holidays. The November 29th episode will also be the go-home show for Survivor Series, meaning that spoilers will be in effect.

The Following Matches And Segments Have Been Announced For WWE SmackDown:

  • Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens face-to-face
  • Women’s United States Championship tournament first round: Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Blair Davenport
