The Last Time is Now tournament continues and more on the November 21 edition of WWE SmackDown.
The first round of the tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent will conclude on the show as Penta will face Finn Balor, and Carmelo Hayes will face Bronson Reed. With 6 stars having already advanced to the next round, there are now only 2 spots left in the next round. The names that have already won their opening round matches are as follows:
- Rusev
- Sheamus
- Jey Uso
- LA Knight
- Solo Sikoa
- Gunther
Additionally, 2 of SmackDown’s top tag teams will collide as DIY will face Fraxiom. Tommaso Ciampa has shown frustration over the past few weeks at being denied an opportunity at the IS Championship, and is out for revenge on Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
It should also be noted that as next week’s show falls on the day after Thanksgiving, a double taping will occur, which will also serve as the go-home show for Survivor Series. At the time of writing, the following has been announced for the November 28 show:
- Elimination match: Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley vs. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo
