Ricky Saints will officially debut and more on the May 1 edition of WWE SmackDown.
The post-WrestleMania call-ups have taken place on previous episodes of Raw and SmackDown as Joe Hendry, Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe, Ethan Page and Fatal Influence have all left NXT. Adding to the list, former NXT Champion Ricky Saints is also set to appear on the main roster moving forward, and will make his official debut on SmackDown. It is currently unknown if Saints will appear in a promo segment only or compete in a match.
The SmackDown after WrestleMania saw Fatal Influence arrive and attack multiple members of the women’s division, including Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Fatal Influence’s leader and former NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is set to compete on the show against Charlotte Flair.
As 3 matches were announced for Backlash 2026 on the last episode of Raw, expect to see more matches confirmed for the upcoming Premium Live Event on the show.
On the day of the show, it was announced that WWE Champion Cody Rhodes would be appearing live. Additionally, Jacob Fatu is also set to make a live appearance ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns at Backlash.
