WWE SmackDown Preview August 29

Two title matches, the final build to Clash in Paris and more will take place on the August 29 WWE SmackDown.

Multiple title matches and more are set to take place on the August 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, which will also be the final edition of the show before Clash in Paris.

Airing live from Lyon, SmackDown will focus on the Premium Live Event set to take place on August 31, which will see John Cena face Logan Paul on the show in what is likely to be the main event. Cena will appear live on SmackDown in what will be the latest stop on his retirement tour. On the August 22 show, Cena was laid out by Paul in the closing shot, which is expected to be addressed by the 17-time World Champion.

Two title matches have been announced ahead of time. After Sami Zayn picked up a victory over United States Champion Solo Sikoa, Zayn has been given the opportunity to win the championship for the first time in his career. Additionally, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Piper Niven and Alba Fyre of The Secret Hervice after Niven defeated Flair the previous week.

The show will air at 8 pm local time for international viewers [7 pm in the UK], but those in the States will have to wait until 8 pm their time to watch the show on delay.
