John Cena is one of the most famous WWE wrestlers in the 21st century. With 17 World Championship reigns to his name along with many other accolades, he has been touted by WWE as the greatest of all time.

In 2002, Cena answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge on SmackDown. After declaring that he had Ruthless Aggression, Cena slapped the Olympic Gold Medalist to signal his arrival on the main roster. Despite the impactful debut, Cena would not catch the attention of the WWE fans again until he debuted his Dr. of Thuganomics persona that saw him freestyle rap before his matches.
At WrestleMania 20, Cena won the first of many championships as he defeated The Big Show in the opening match to capture the US Title. Cena went one better the next year as he defeated JBL to win the first of his 17 WWE Championships.
In addition to his many accomplishments in the ring, Cena followed in the footsteps of The Rock by making the transition to Hollywood. Making his acting debut in the 2006 WWE film The Marine, Cena went on to star in major motion pictures such as Fast 9, The Suicide Squad and Barbie.
