WWE Raw Set To Receive New Start Time

WWE Raw Set To Receive New Start Time

WWE Raw is set to have a different start time moving forward to avoid going head-to-head with major competition on Monday nights.

It is being reported by WrestleVotes that beginning September 15 and continuing for the next 2 weeks, the flagship show will air one hour earlier with a start time of 7 pm. For those in the UK, that would mean that Raw would start at midnight.

The reason for the change in time is due to the 2025 NFL season getting underway and Raw is expected to face heavy competition from Monday Night Football, which has a long history of affecting the Monday night show’s ratings, especially during the start of the season. According to the report, those in WWE are looking to see how well the show performs with the earlier start time and minimising the effect NFL has on the show. With Raw now being broadcast on Netflix as opposed to traditional TV formatting, the show can alter its start time without affecting other shows in the schedule.

On September 15, a doubleheader will take place on Monday night as the Buccaneers will take on the Texans, followed by the Chargers taking on the Raiders. Another doubleheader will also take place 2 weeks later, with the Jets taking on the Dolphins and the Bengals taking on the Broncos.

Another WWE Raw To Have Earlier Start Time

Another feature of the Netflix and Raw agreement is that the Monday night show airs live at 8 pm in the respective location regardless, meaning that shows that air in Europe have not been broadcast on delay. Because of this, the Clash in Paris fallout episode of Raw on September 1 will air live from Paris at 8 pm local time, which will be 7 pm in the UK and 2 pm on the East Coast in the United States.
