A title match and more have been announced for the September 1 edition of WWE Raw, which will air live in Paris.
On the August 25 episode of Raw, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio met with General Manager Adam Pearce, infuriated that AJ Styles flew all the way to Birmingham just to prevent him from interfering in a match. Pearce’s solution was to have Mysterio and Styles settle their differences, with the title on the line.
Also on the August 25 Raw, Stephanie Vaquer received confirmation that she would not be fighting for the Women’s World Championship at Clash in Paris following the vacating of the title. Pearce then told Vaquer that the following week, an update would be provided on the future of the championship, clarifying that Vaquer is still the number one contender.
With the show also being the fallout episode from Clash in Paris, which will air the night before, it is expected that the events from the show will be addressed.
