The final WWE SmackDown before SummerSlam will take place on August 1, featuring 2 title matches and more!
After defeating Zelina Vega to win the Women’s United States Championship, Giulia will put the title on the line against Vega on the show. The other championship match will see AAA World Tag Team Champions Angel and Berto defend their titles in an open challenge, marking a rare appearance of another promotion’s titles being featured on a main roster WWE show.
Following his return to WWE, Aleister Black has targeted Damian Priest over the past few weeks. With both men at odds, Priest and Black will go one on one on SmackDown.
The show will also heavily focus on the 2-night SummerSlam, which will expand to 2 night for the first time ever. With John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes expected to round out the weekend of action, both Cena and Rhodes will be appearing live to present the final build to their WrestleMania rematch.
