WWE received a $6 million site fee from Las Vegas to host WrestleMania 42 in the city for the second consecutive year.
According to documents obtained by Post Wrestling, the company received the payment from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), which was also $1 million more than the previous year. The payment is in addition to a $4,314,821 tax credit the promotion received approval for from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, meaning that total incentives were in excess of $10 million.
The fee, which was cited in the document as a “sponsor fee”, also includes the 300,000 square foot convention space that was used for the WWE World attraction. The agreement also gave the LVCVA “a suite at Allegiant Stadium for each night of WrestleMania, 40 lower-level section tickets, 10 tickets for each day of WWE World, and 20 tickets for lower-level sections for SmackDown, NXT, and Raw.”
In 2025, World Wrestling Entertainment received a $5 million site fee and $4,240,456 in other incentives to host WrestleMania 41 in Vegas, which became the highest-grossing event in company history.
WWE Receives Higher Site Fee For WrestleMania, But Record Not Broken
The week after WrestleMania 42, WWE touted the success of the event via a press release. Described as “one of the highest-grossing events”, Mania 42 was unable to surpass the record set the previous year. The show did set a new digital record, with “1.3 billion views across all social platforms” being touted in the release.
