WWE Raw Results October 20: The Fate Of The World Tilte Revealed

Multiple title matches and more took place on the October 20 episode of WWE Raw, along with the future of the World Heavyweight Championship also being determined.

Following Crown Jewel, there have been injury concerns for World Champion Seth Rollins, even though there has also been speculation that the injury may be a ruse given what took place earlier in the year. On Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce provided an update on The Visionary and what the future holds for the World Title.

Additionally, both Intercontinental Championships and the World Tag Team Championships were on the line.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were on commentary for the show. Lilian Garcia was the ring announcer.

WWE Raw Results October 20:

  • Following a video package recapping the betrayal of Seth Rollins by The Vision, General Manager Adam Pearce attempted to provide an update. However, Pearce was quickly interrupted by Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, the latter holding the World Title. Pearce announced that he was stripping Rollins of the title and a battle royal would take place later in the show, where the winner would face CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event on October 1.
  • AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defated The Judgment Day to become the new World Tag Team Champions.
  • More Judgment Day tension occurred, which saw Roxanne Perez attempt to sooth things over between the group.
  • Dominik Mysterio defeated Rusev to retain the Intercontinental Championship
  • Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship ended in DQ when Lynch struck Dupri with the title.
  • Adam Pearce informed Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker that they would not be in the battle royal. Paul Heyman tried to give a sales pitch to Becky Lynch, but The Man was having none of it.
  • Rusev, Ivar, Grayson Waller, Kofi Kingston, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Akira Tozawa, Otis, El Grande Americano, Penta, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, and Sheamus competed in the battle royal, which was ultimately won by Jey Uso.
