Unfortunately, there are once again injury concerns for Seth Rollins following the events that took place during WWE’s latest trip to Australia.
During the main event of Crown Jewel, Rollins faced WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. During the match, Rollins hit a coast-to-coast, but landed on his arm. Along with the World Heavyweight Champion noting that the move would have “long lasting ramifications”, he was also seen in a sling the following day, sparking speculation that he could be dealing with another injury. Additionally, Rollins was attacked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on the following episode of Raw, potentially writing The Visionary off TV for the foreseeable future.
In a follow-up report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, it is noted that many of the details surrounding Rollins remain speculative right now, given what took place earlier in the year. It is also added that if there is an injury, then sources are hopeful it is not too bad given that he was cleared for the attack angle on Raw. Rollins is also set to undergo further testing later in the week.
Why Some Are Not Convinced WWE Star Seth Rollins May Have An Injury
Earlier in the year, Rollins was seemingly injured in his match with LA Knight at a Saturday Night’s Main Event special, and was seen on crutches for the next few weeks. However, at SummerSlam, Rollins revealed that the injury was a ruse, as he threw his crutches to the floor and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk, stealing the title away from his rival just 5 minutes after Punk won it by defeating Gunther in the main event of night 1.
