Wrestling Drama Series "Tuesday Night Titans" Coming To Netflix

Streaming titan Netflix is once again making a pro wrestling drama series, this time taking on the classic name Tuesday Night Titans.

As reported by Rosy Cordero of DeadlineNetflix is in the early stages of developing the pro wrestling series which also shares the same name as the WWE talk show that aired from 1984 to 1986. The show is said to be created and written by former WWE writer Michael Notarile, who also serves as executive producer along with Jon M. Chu, who is ebst known as the director of hit movies Crazy Rich Asians and Wicked, the latter of which was nominated for best picture at the 2025 Academy Awards and the sequel, Wicked: For Good, will be released later in the year.

According to Deadline, the show will follow a tenacious writer risk their career to recruit her estranged childhood friend, who is an enchancement talent on the indies, to join the same company they both idolised in their youth. Both see their dreams become entangled as kayfabe bleeds out of the ring and into their everyday lives.

It is noted in the article that Netflix declined to comment when asked about the upcoming project and that the Netflix Tuesday Night Titans is in no way affiliated with the WWE series that aired in the 1980s.

Tuesday Night Titans To Join Netflix’s Pro Wrestling Line-Up

Netflix are no strangers to hosting pro wrestling content on its platform, especially in 2025. At the start of the year, the new media rights deal began, which saw WWE Raw become an exclusive streaming property to Netflix in many major markets worldwide. Additionally, the platform has produced the docuseries Wrestlers, which gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Ohio Valley Wrestling, along with the drama series GLOW, which focused on the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling promotion in the 80s. GLOW premiered in 2017 and ran for 3 seasons before being cancelled.
