Lil Yachty paid dividends for Trick Williams as the SmackDown star is now a 2-time United States Champion.

At Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6, Yachty was able to survive the 5-minute time limit against Baron Corbin, allowing Williams to challenge for the title immediately afterwards. The end of the match saw Yachty hit a low blow on Corbin, allowing the clock to expire.

The match with no countout and no DQ saw the rapper take control early with a cheap shot and kendo stick shots, but Corbin took out Yachty with the End of Days. Yachty’s entourage got involved, but were also attacked by Corbin. Yachty was hit with another End of Days, but Corbin looked to dish out more punishment. A table was set up, but Yachty hit the aforementioned low blow to secure the win.

Irate at the result, Corbin drove Yachty through the table after the match.

Trick Williams Capitalises On Lil Yachty Win

With Yachty taken out, Williams made his entrance for the title match. Running to the ring, Williams hit multiple kicks to Corbin before sending the champion out the ring. Corbin took control and slowed the pace before Williams made his comeback. The end of the match saw Corbin hit Williams with the US title while the referee was distracted, but Williams kicked out. Williams then hit the Trick Shot to win the match and the title.
