WWE Raw A Global Success On Netflix

A new match has been added to the already stacked WWE Raw on Netflix debut episode.

Netflix has provided more insight into the success of the WWE Raw premiere on the platform.

The January 6th Raw saw the new era of programming begin with a show packed with legends and a title change with Rhea Ripley Ripley defeating Liv Morgan to become the new Women’s World Champion. With the show off network TV, the traditional method to obtain ratings was unavailable and fans instead had to wait for Netflix and WWE to release the official data.

On January 9th, TKO put out a press release touting the success of the premiere with a reported global viewership of 4.9 million. One week after the debut, Netflix has released more information.

As seen on the Netflix global top 10 from the past week, Raw ranked 4th overall with 5.9 million views and a total watch time of 17.7 million. Missing You took the top spot with 15.2 million viewers worldwide. While the debut episode of Raw was a success in terms of viewership, fans will be interested to see how the January 13th episode of the red brand performed as this was a more standard episode of the show.

Another Title Change Takes Place On WWE Raw

One week after Ripley became the new Women’s World Champion another new champion was crowned. Culminating the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament, Lyra Valkyria became the inaugural holder of the mid-card title.
