Will Ospreay Says Tony Khan Paid For Neck Surgery: "It Cost More Than My House"

Will Ospreay has given an insight into his recovery from neck surgery, adding that Tony Khan was the one who covered all the costs.

Although Ospreay remains an English resident, where healthcare is free, the AEW star elected to have the surgery in Jacksonville, Florida, the home of All Elite Wrestling. As seen in a video on AEW’s YouTube channel titled Rebuild & Destroy, which was the first in a docuseries on The Aerial Assassin’s road to recovery, the operation was not cheap!

Ospreay revealed that Khan paid for the entire thing, and was given a shocking look into the cost of American healthcare. The former International Champion noted that the bill was more than the cost of his house in England.

Tony’s paying for the entire thing, which is like crazy. I saw that bill. Oh my god, man. It cost more than my house in England. If you pay for that, for my health, I’ll be a little soldier for him for the rest of my life.

While the value of Ospreay’s house is unknown, the listing site Rightmove reports that the average house price in the Essex area is £427,671.

Will Ospreay Will Be “A Little Soldier” To Tony Khan For The Foreseeable Future

Ospreay is set to compete in the biggest match of his life in just over a week. Winning the Owen Hart Cup back at Forbidden Door, Ospreay will challenge Kenny Omega for the World Championship in the main event of All In. The match will take place inside Wembley Stadium, just a short drive from Ospreay’s hometown.

Ospreay is also undefeated inside Wembley, picking up wins against Chris Jericho and MJF in previous appearances.
