Trsih Stratus Reflects On Loss To Tiffany Stratton; Was This The Final Match For The WWE Hall Of Famer?

Trish Stratus has looked back on her loss to Tiffany Stratton and whether this could be the final time that WWE fans get to see her perform live.

The Hall of Famer faced off against the WWE Women’s Champion with the title on the line at Evolution on July 13. Despite Stratus’ best efforts, the 7-time Women’s Champion lost to Stratton after the SmackDown star hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to win the match and retain her title.

With Stratus already a Hall of Famer and regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time, fans are aware that her latest nostalgia run won’t be forever. While appearing on the Evolution post-show, Stratus was asked by Jackie Redmond if her most recent match may have been her last:

“I have that thought, I’m like, is this the last time? Like, it could be”

Stratus first made her return to the ring as part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match to mark 25 years since her in-ring debut. The Hall of Famer returned the following month to team with Stratton in a winning effort against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. On the July 4 SmackDown, Stratus was selected by Stratus to be her challenger for Evolution.

Trish Stratus Puts Over Another Top WWE Star

After initially retiring back in 2006, Stratus has made multiple comebacks to mostly elevate the current stars in the company. Along with the aforementioned loss to Stratton, Stratus has also been defeated by Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch over the past few years.
