Tony Khan Responds To Pyro Report Ahead Of AEW All In

Tony Khan has addressed the rumours that pyro may be limited for AEW’s biggest show of the year, All In.

Due to ongoing dry weather in the UK, alerts were put out by the government strongly advising the public to refrain from using items that could pose a fire risk. As well as disposable BBQs being banned, there are also concerns about the setting off of fireworks. An excessive amount was used for The Weeknd’s recent Wembley show, leading to a report that All In may have restrictions on the amount they could use.

However, when asked about this report, this was not something that Khan was aware of.

Tony Khan “Can’t Speculate” On Pyro Rumours

Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Khan admitted that he hadn’t heard anything about the report:

‘That’s the first I’ve heard of any of that, so I can’t speculate,’

Khan has taken part in multiple interviews to help promote All In at Wembley Stadium on August 30. With this being the fourth time that All Elite Wrestling has held a show in London, events have expanded further to include Dynamite and Collision tapings the week of the show.

Also during the interview, Khan spoke about the English wrestling fans being a huge part of AEW’s growth. Khan also teased that AEW may come to other UK cities down the road:

‘I really believe that the English wrestling fans have been instrumental in growing the worldwide popularity of AEW, and London may be the very best city for AEW,’ he said, smiling.

‘So I absolutely will continue bringing AEW here to London, and also I look forward to visiting other cities in England.

‘We debuted in Manchester last year. I think there are more opportunities to visit all the great cities around the UK, because there are so many great wrestling fans here in the United Kingdom.’
