Ahead of AEW All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium, Tony Khan took questions from the media about the event and all things All Elite Wrestling.
The Thursday before the biggest AEW show of the year, Khan addressed the booking of Wembley Stadium and the importance of holding a show in London. There was also talk of plans for next year, and an update on what is happening with the Trios Championships.
In a separate interview, Tony Khan responded to claims that AEW would have reduced pyro for All In.
Tony Khan AEW All In 2026 Media Call Notes:
- Tony welcomes the media to the call and confirms there will be another press conference after the show.
- Asked about booking the big stadium shows, Khan said that Wembley is the only show of this size he has run. The three London shows will be the most attended in AEW history and Khan puts over the English fans. Khan also says that the viewership on ITV has been amazing and is happy with the ongoing partnership.
- Asked about the Women’s Tag Titles and the growth of Jamie Hayter, Khan said he is a huge fan of Jamie. Khan also put over Hayter for being great outside of the ring as well as hard-hitting inside. Khan said he is excited about the match.
- Asked about an extended run in the UK, Khan said it is all about the balance. Khan says he loses the fans and they have brought TV over to the UK. Khan does think there are more opportunities for events in England and it great to have shows in the country. Khan once again puts over the fans in the UK.
- Asked about being booked for August next year and clarifying the Trios match, Khan said he would address more of that on Collision. Khan can’t speak for next year’s schedule but is blown away by the support of the community. All In will also be the largest PPV by far on HBO Max. Khan also says that the show will go live at 6 pm local time and expects it to go 4 hours. Khan said that he had this card in mind for a long time. Regarding the Trios titles, Khan said he looked back at the Casino Battle Royal and the Christmas Trios Royal. Khan spoke about there being a lot of entrants from a lot of top trios and it is a very exciting opportunity. Khan says that during the buy-in and going into the PPV broadcast, there would be a trios roulette royal. There will be 7 trios and 5 former trios champions. There could also be a wildcard team. The Dogs, The Demand The Deathriders, The Conglomoration, The Bang Bang Gang and the champions will all be involved.
- Asked about people maybe getting lost in the shuffle, Khan said the hardest thing is when people get injured. Khan said the quality of TV has been high in 2026 and there will be more opportunities moving forward.
- Asked about Thekla being absent, Khan said that she is a tremendous wrestler. Khan teased that Thekla could be back soon. Khan has been very focused on the 8 matches and entrances, but there is the opportunity to add more.
- Asked about Willow Nightingale dealing with an injury, Khan confirmed she does have a hand injury. Khan says Nightingale is a fighter and is looking forward to the match. Khan said some plans have to change, but that is part of wrestling.
- Asked about the World Championship match and how long it has been in the works, Khan said it has been pencilled in since Kenny Omega won the title. Khan put over Omega as someone integral in the creation of AEW. Khan spoke about Omega’s return and how he wanted to have a bigger 2026, and to get on top. Khan admitted last year he may have pushed Omega more than he should have, but Omega has found the perfect schedule.
- Asked about the absence of a Women’s Casino gauntlet, Khan said there is still a great opportunity ot feature more women on the show. Khan also noted that they had a Women’s Casino Gauntlet match very recently.
- Asked about MyAEW and possibly replicating the WWE Network model, Khan said on the international side there is a more robust side. Khan said the media rights are the lifeblood of AEW and any updates for MyAEW are only with media rights partners in mind.
- Asked about Britt Baker, Khan said she has been a big part of Wembley in the past and to stay tuned.
- Asked about the Continental Challenge Cup by Features of Wrestling, Khan said that Wembley was the perfect place to have the inaugural final. Khan put over the matches and he is really excited to see Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness and face off. Regarding the future, Khan says we will see but the Continental Classic is a permanent fixture and he has enjoyed the Challenge Cup. Khan says he enjoys the Continental rules with no interference. Khan says he will have to reflect and plan for next year.
Closing out the call, Khan said that he is really looking forward to the show and that AEW is going to be in a strong position.
