AEW All In Expected To Have Pyro Restrictions

AEW could have limitations on the amount of pyro they can use for their biggest show of the year, All In: Wembley.

On August 20, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that due to current UK restrictions put in place by the government, excessive pyro is likely to be prohibited. Due to a lack of rainfall in the country, millions of residents have been sent emergency alerts to be extra vigilant of the risk of wildfires. Citizens have been strongly advised against using anything that could lead to a fire starting, such as fireworks and disposable BBQs. The warning came following The Weeknd’s concert at Wembley, which had an excessive amount of fireworks set off during the finale.

Following Meltzer’s report, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select corroborated the news, meaning that All In may have reduced pyro, or none at all.

There has been no comment from AEW at this time regarding the update.

AEW Could Be Preparing For All In With No Pyro

Naturally, fans are expecting an increase in pyro and special effects given that this is the biggest show of the year for All Elite Wrestling. However, unless the UK government lifts restrictions, the show may look slightly different on August 30.

The announced card for the show is currently as follows:

• Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Mercedes Mone – Singles match for the AEW Women’s Championship
• Cage and Cope (c) vs. The Young Bucks – Tag team match for the AEW Tag Team Championships
• Men’s Casino Gauntlet match – The winner will receive a future opportunity at the World Championship. Andrade El Idolo and MJF are the number one and two entrants
• Kevin Knight (c) vs. Darby Allin – Falls count anywhere match for the TNT Championship
• Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchicka Okada – 3-way match for the International Championship
• Continental Cup Final
• Divine Dominion (Lena Kross and Megan Bayne) (c) vs. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) – Tag team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships
