Tony Khan Addresses Likelihood Of Further Physicality In AEW

Tony Khan has commented on how likely it would be that he would engage in even more physicality in AEW.

Will Tony Khan step back into the ring again? It seems unlikely according to the AEW owner.

Back in April, an episode of AEW Dynamite that aired live from Daily’s Palce in Jacksonville, Florida had a shocking conclusion as Tony Khan was attacked by The Elite and Jack Perry. First punched by Perry, Khan was later hit by the TK Driver from The Young Bucks resulting in the locker room, medical staff and Tony’s father Shad Khan all rushing to the ring to check on the owner of the promotion.

For subsequent appearances, Khan sold the attack by wearing a neck brace, including while at the NFL Draft. The appearances got a lot of coverage across the Draft days and many were entertained by the decision to keep selling the assault. Although Khan was nearly attacked during the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing, he quickly fled before further physicality ensued. With this is mind, is Khan at all tempted to step back in the ring?

While speaking with amNY to promote Grand Slam, Khan noted that the last time he was attacked it was a voluntary decision to get involved and has no plans to do it in the future.

“I didn’t step into the ring voluntarily. I would hope to avoid such physical altercations in the future.”
