Fans expecting to see Saraya, also known as Paige, make her return to WWE may be waiting a lot longer…
Back in March 2025, the former AEW Women’s Champion revealed on the debut episode of her podcast that she was no longer a part of All Elite Wrestling. Although the Norwich native has remained focused on other projects such as the podcast and promoting her autobigraphy, fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the former Paige is the latest former AEW star to make their return to WWE, especially as she now has the chance to retire on her own terms now that she has been cleared to compete.
While speaking with The Orlando Sentinel, the topic of a WWE return once again came up, to which Saraya stated that no conversations have taken place regarding a possible return:
“I haven’t had a conversation with them. I know, I always get tagged in everything, as soon as there’s a mystery going around, they’re like, ‘Hey, she’s coming back.’ But no. I love the WWE, but no.”
Continuing, the former Women’s Champion noted that she is still looking to explore opportunities outside of the ring as opposed to jumping back into professional wrestling so soon:
“It feels good to take a little break from wrestling and then see the outpouring of love from people saying they want me back. I just want to get my feet wet outside of wrestling for a little bit and take care of myself this year. It’s consumed me my whole life. All 32 years of my life has been wrestling, so I just want to find myself a little bit outside it and next year, maybe come back.”
It still remains unknown when or if Saraya will make her return to a wrestling company. Although many are suspecting that the British wrestler’s destination would be WWE, AEW President Tony Khan has gone on record that he would welcome back the former Women’s Champion if she was interested.
Saraya Previously Spoke About Possible WWE Return
Having undergone an extensive media tour to promote her book, the possibility of a WWE return has been regularly brought up. In a previous interview, Saraya spoke about the possibility of it happening and which name she would prefer to use if the return did happen.
Along with being the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion, Paige memorably made her main roster debut the night after WrestleMania 30, defeating AJ Lee to win the Divas Championship. The match also served s the final scene in her biopic Fighting with My Family.
