Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital on October 23, but his daughter Charlotte Flair has told fans her dad will be ok.
TMZ reported Friday that Flair, 77, fell outside a Florida restaurant. Hours before, Flair told fans that he had to cancel an upcoming appearance after having blood clots in his leg. The article notes that “Ric was hanging at Wagamama in Tampa this morning when he got up from the bar, leaving his phone and drink behind and walking across the street.”
While outside, Flair fell and suffered an injury to his face. TMZ adds that Flair cut his head and eye as a result of the fall, and was bleeding from the eye. The Hall of Famer was then loaded into an ambulance and taken to hospital.
Flair was originally set to make an appearance in Seattle for a convention in Washington, but this was one of many appearances cancelled due to the aforementioned blood clots. Flair also cancelled an appearance at Cauliflower Alley Club back in the summer for the same issue.
Regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, Flair is currently under contract with AEW. Flair has not made any appearances on AEW TV since Sting’s retirement match back in 2024.
