Rapper Travis Scott was originally set to be part of the popular WWE 2K25 videogame, but plans changed due to an interesting reason.
Scott has been heavily involved on WWE TV over the past 7 months. Along with accompanying Jey Uso to the ring on the Raw on Netflix premiere, the rapper also had his song “Fein” used as an official WrestleMania 41 theme and he also was in the ring for John Cena’s heel turn and interfered in the main event, which saw Cena defeat Cody Rhodes following the distraction.
With celebrity involvement in WWE at an all-time high, multiple stars from the sports nad entertainment world have made their way into the 2K25 game as pat of the DLC packs. However, back in May, a celebrity guest was teased for the New Wave pack, which never was announced. Instead, Raw star El Grande Americano has been named as the replacement and will be joining the game in September.
With no updates as to why the celebrity guest was scrapped by 2K Games themselves, a new report has claimed the reason to be that Scott and WWE are no longer on speaking terms.
Travis Scott Had Fallout With WWE, Leading To 2K25 Removal
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the July 25 Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the two sides had a “full falling out”, which led to Scott being taken out of the game. It is also noted that it is now “open season to mock him”, which was what Drew McIntyre did during a recent interview appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast.
