Drew McIntyre has let his feelings be known about the Travis Scott involvement at WrestleMania 41 and has held little back!
The main event of the biggest show of the year saw John Cena defeat Cody Rhodes to win his record-breaking 17th WWE Championship on April 20. With The Rock heavily involved in the lead-up to the match, many were expecting to see the Hollywood star make a cameo appearance and factor into the finish.
However, what happened instead was Scott’s song “Fein” played throughout Allegiant Stadium as the rapper made a lengthy entrance. After distracting Rhodes, Cena capitalised to win the match and the title in what was an almost universally panned creative move that has seen Scott remain absent from WWE TV ever since.
When the dust had settled on WrestleMania, fans were very vocal about what had occurred, especially as The Rock was notably absent. Still leaving a sour taste for many months later, McIntyre is in agreement with the masses.
Drew McIntyre Lays Into Travis Scott
Appearing as a guest on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, McInytyre kept his feelings short and to the point on the Scott run-in back in April:
“Do a six-minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event. Travis Scott. Piece of sh*t,”
McIntyre will team with Logan Paul at SummerSlam as they take on Randy Orton and Jelly Roll.
