New Match Added To WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event

Two rising stars will face off to determine who is the future of WWE at Sunday Night’s Main Event special.

Bron Breakker called out Oba Femi on the August 17 edition of WWE Raw. The Ruler answered, leading to both men laying out their case as to why they are the future of WWE. While it looked like the two men could face off there and then, Paul Heyman said that this match deserves a bigger build. It was later announced that Femi and Breakker would have their match on September 6.

A WrestleMania rematch was also announced for the show. Following Randy Orton’s return at SummerSlam, which saw him attack Cody Rhodes at the event, Orton and Rhodes will go one-on-one once more on September 6.

Trick Williams is the featured star on the poster for the event. While he has not currently been announced for the show, the former United States Champion is expected to be added to the card at a later date.

• Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi
• Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event will air live from Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, September 6. The event will be broadcast on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally.
