The August 31 WWE Raw has been taped ahead of time, meaning that spoilers are now available for the show.
The taping took place on August 28 and also saw the September 4 SmackDown recorded a week in advance. The reason for the batch tapings is so the wrestlers and staff are able to have an extended break before the South America tour begins next month. The taping took place in Cleveland, Ohio, and means that there will be no live WWE broadcast until Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.
Those in attendance were able to provide spoilers to the matches and segments that took place at the Raw taping. The spoilers have been obtained via Fightful.
WWE Raw Spoilers August 31:
- Royce Keys & OTM attack the Usos backstage. Jacob Fatu runs them off then heads to the ring to call them out.
- Raquel Rodriguez defeated Sol Ruca to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title after Lyra Valkyria interfered.
- Dragon Lee defeated Ethan Page to earn a future Intercontinental title match.
- Roman Reigns and LA Knight had an in-ring promo. Solo Sikoa was seen laid out backstage.
- A vignette for Lola Vice aired.
- Dominik Mysterio vs. Je’Von Evans ended in a disqualification when JD McDonagh interfered. This turns into a tag match.
- Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) defeated Je’Von Evans and Joe Hendry.
- Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer had a backstage segment.
- Paul Heyman cut a promo backstage.
- Penta defeated Rey Fenix to earn a future World title match against Roman Reigns. The show closed with Reigns confronting Penta over their future match.
