Liv Morgan was unable to finish her match on WWE Raw due to injury.
Morgan was in action against Kairi Sane on the June 16th episode of Raw. Moments after the match began, Morgan hit the mat following a single leg takedown from Sane. The current Women’s Tag Team Champion then rolled out of the ring and held her arm, and was then checked on by doctors as the show went to break. When Raw returned, Michael Cole informed fans that Morgan was unable to continue and was helped to the back.
Cole later announced that Morgan had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
This was the second Morgan appearance on Raw after the former Women’s World Champion kicked off the show. Accompanied by Dominik Mysterio, Morgan called out current Women’s Champion IYO SKY, who attacked Morgan and Mysterio to stand tall.
More Details Emerge On Liv Morgan Injury
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has provided more information on Morgan’s injury and how long the Raw star could be out for. Johnson first confirmed that, despite what some fans may think, the injury is 100% legitimate and not a way to write Morgan off TV. Johnson adds that WWE is still learning the severity of the dislocation, which will determine how long Morgan will be out of action for.
Johnson also notes that if the dislocation is severe, then it could be upwards of 16 weeks that Morgan could be out of action for, but that will all be dependent on the final diagnosis. Additionally, there is no heat on anyone over what took place.
Features of Wrestling would like to wish Liv Morgan a full and speedy recovery.
