Line-Up Announced For September 2 AEW Dynamite

A title match, a championship celebration and more have been announced for the September 2 edition of AEW Dynamite.

In what was one of many title changes to take place at All In, Mercedes Mone defeated Willow Nightingale to finally win the AEW Women’s Championship. With this being the one title that has alluded Mone throughout her career, the CEO is set to appear live and celebrate her victory.

A huge debut took place at All In as Austin Creed and Kofi, previously known as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston in WWE, made their AEW debut. Now known as The New Level, Austin and Kofi teamed with Swerve Strickland to win the Trios Championships in their first night in the company. The new champions are set to put their titles on the line on Dynamite as they will face The Rascalz.

This will also be the first episode of Dynamite following All In, meaning the events of the Wembley Stadium show will be addressed. The main event saw Will Ospreay defeat Kenny Omega to win the World Championship. New TNT, TBS and International Champions were also crowned at the event.
