Will Ospreay competed in another major match for RevPro the night before he won the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium.
Just over 24 hours before the biggest match of his career, Ospreay was revealed as the mystery partner for CPF [Callum Newman, Danny Black, Joe Lando & Maverick Mayhew] as part of a 10 man tag at the 14 year anniversary show, which took place at Wembley Arena. Helping his team pick up the win, Ospreay asked if Newman could be in his corner for the All In main event, which Newman accepted. Ospreay went on to defeat Kenny Omega.
Speaking on the All In post-show, Ospreay opened up about what the RevPro moment meant to him and the fans. The new World Champion also thanked Andy Quildan for all he did for him during this time, noting that it was RevPro where he got his big break:
“It means so much to me to remind people that before there was New Japan, Revolution Pro looked after me. There were so many times Andy Quildan could have washed his hands with me and just said, ‘I don’t care how talented you are, you’re too much baggage.’ Instead, he stuck it out with me because he believes that I’ve got a good heart, hate to tell you Andy, it’s black. Andy’s looked after me since day one. Andy having one of the biggest nights in Revolution Pro history. This is just me, but it would be so cool to see something like that.
Imagine if it was Bryan Danielson, but then the night before, he showed up at Ring of Honor. I think that so many things like that…. It’s never happened before. I would love to just leave a lasting impression. Just because I am performing in the main event of Wembley Stadium on the biggest night of my life, I should not forget about the people that were there at the very start when I had no money, when I couldn’t afford a gym membership. It was super important for me to be there for Andy.”

Debuting for the British promotion in 2013, Ospreay has competed in 91 RevPro matches to date. Ospreay is a former Undisputed British Cruiserweight and heavyweight Champion in the promotion. Prior to joining All Elite Wrestling full-time, Ospreay faced Michael Oku in his farewell match, which received critical acclaim and is regarded as one of the best matches in the promotion’s history.
