The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will begin and more on the June 1 edition of WWE Raw.
On the May 25 Raw, WWE announced that the long-running tournament would begin next week. While no entrants have been announced at this time, LA Kngith made it clear on the show that he intended to win and go after Roman Reigns. With Night of Champions scheduled for June 27, if the company feels it is safe to travel to Saudi Arabia, this is likely where the finals will take place.
The winners of the respective tournaments will go on to SummerSlam and challenge their brands’ top champion. In 2025, King of the Ring winner Cody Rhodes went on to defeat John Cena and win his 2nd WWE Championship. The Queen of the Ring winner, Jade Cargill, was unsuccessful in challenging Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.
As this will also be the fallout show from Clash in Italy, Raw will air live from Turin, Italy. The line-up for Clash in Italy is as follows:
- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther – Singles match for the WWE Championship
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu – Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. If Fatu wins, he must serve Reigns.
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill – Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
- Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca – Singles match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship
