Jade Cargill Win's WWE Women's Championship

Finding championship success in both WWE and AEW, Jade Cargill has already left a lasting impression in the wrestling world.

  • Date of Birth: 3 August 1992
  • Date of in-ring debut: 3 March 2021 AEW Dynamite
  • Finishing move: Jaded
  • Signature move: Powerbomb

Unlike many of the top stars of today, Cargill did not make her name on the independents before signing to a major wrestling company. Instead, Cargill took advice form Hall of Famer Mark Henry to pursue professional wrestling, and obtained a try-out in April 2019. Later training at The Nightmare Factory, Cargill was signed by AEW and made her onscreen debut in 2020.

Following a series of onscreen segments on Dynamite, Cargill had one of the most high-profile in-ring debuts in recent history, as she teamed with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to defeat Red Velvet and Cody Rhodes. From there, Cargill went on a dominant run and was booked strongly, leading to her being crowned the first-ever TBS Champion in January 2022, defeating Ruby Soho in the final. Cargill held onto the title for more than 500 days and had more than 60 title defences before dropping the championship to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing 2023.

After losing to Statlander one more time, Cargill was later announced to be a part of the WWE roster. However, unlike previous arrivals who have made surprise debuts on TV or Premium Live Events, Cargill’s signing was announced ahead of time in September 2023 and was put over in a big way, similar to a major sports star signing with a new team.

Following a number of cameo appearances backstage, Cargill officially arrived when she entered the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match in the number 28 spot. Eliminating Nia Jax almost instantly, Cagill let new fans know what she was all about while also reminding those who knew what she is capable of. Forming an alliance with Bianca Belair and Naomi, Cargill made her WrestleMania debut later that year as the trio defeated Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40.

Later that year, Cargill won her first championship in WWE as she and Bianca Belair defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Although they would briefly lose the titles to Alba Fyra and Isla Dawn, the duo quickly became 2-time champions.

Suffering an injury later that year, Cargill was written off TV by a mystery attacker, who was revealed to be Naomi. At Elimination Chamber 2025, Cargill made her return and got revenge on Naomi, defeating her former friend at WrestleMania and Evolution.

Continuing her individual rise, Cagill won the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament. Although Cargill was unable to defeat Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam, the rematch at the November 1 Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Cargill win her first individual championship in WWE.
