Jade Cargill made her long-awaited WWE in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble.
Entering the Women’s Royal Rumble at number 28, Cargill entered like a star in Tropicana Field with new music but still had the same aura that AEW fans are very familiar with. Cargill would be in the final 3 before being eliminated by Liv Morgan.
Not appearing on TV since NXT Halloween Havoc, it is unknown which brand Cargill will be a part of for the foreseeable future. It is expected that Cargill’s future will be addressed on January 29th.
When Did Jade Cargill Join WWE?
Cargill became the second major name to depart AEW and join WWE after Cody Rhodes did the same in April 2022. Announced in a big way, Jade Cargill joined WWE in September 2023. Multiple updates would be provided on social media and Cargill was seen being welcomed by Triple H at the Fastlane Premium Live Event. Following the news being made official, Cargill said the following regarding the next steps of her wrestling career:
“It feels great you know, I feel like I was just in preparation for the grand stage. I felt like this was always the mission. I felt like the shoe fit. I felt like this was gonna happen, honestly this is all expected so I’m excited to be here.”
