A contract signing, Oba Femi appeared live and more on the May 25 episode of WWE Raw.
At Clash in Italy, Roman Reigns is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu once more, this time in Tribal Combat. Both men appeared live on the show to sign the contract and make their match official.
Additionally, Oba Femi was set to kick off Raw.
This was also the final Raw before Clash in Italy, which is set to take place in Turin at the end of the month.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show. Alicia Taylor served as ring announcer.
WWE Raw Results May 25:
- Paul Heyman officially kicked off Raw. Heyman spoke about Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar at Clash in Italy, but was interrupted by Oba chants from the fans. Heyman continued his promo and threw to a Brock Lesnar video package. Lesnar spoke about his loss at Mania and how it didn’t sit right with him. Lesnar said that he can take an ass whooping, but can Femi? Lesnar also claimed he was retired but he would rule over Oba Femi. Heyman continued his hype but was interrupted by Femi. Femi promised to kill Lesnar when he sees him next.
- Penta defeated Je’Von Evans to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
- Paul Heyman revealed that Logan Paul suffered an injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Bron Breakker was named Tag Team Champion as Paul’s replacement.
- Joe Hendry performed “Fire Logan Paul”, but was taken out by Austin Theory with chair shots.
- Seth Rollins tried to convince The Street Profits to help him take out The Vision. A frustrated Montez Ford instead challenged Rollins to a match later in the show.
- Bayley and Lyra Valkyria defeated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
- LA Knight appeared live and spoke about the King of the Ring tournament. Knight said that when he wins, he will face Roman Reigns. Jimmy Uso interrupted, adding that if Knight wins, out of respect he will get a fair shot at Reigns. Knight said that Uso was in danger of being Reigns’ errand boy again, and threatened to put The Bloodline out of business.
- Seth Rollins defeated Montez Ford. Austin Theory attacked Angelo Dawkins after the match.
- Rey Mysterio defeated Rusev to earn an Intercontinental Championship opportunity. Rusev attacked Mysterio after the match, but Dragon Lee made the save.
- Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu appeared live for their contract signing. Fatu quickly threw chairs out of the ring. Reigns asked Adam Pearce and security to leave the ring so that they can address each other. Reigns reminded Fatu of the stipulations; if Fatu wins, Reigns would acknowledge him. However, if Fatu loses, he must serve Reigns.
