Logan Paul Injured, Future Of Tag Team Championships Confirmed

Logan Paul will be out of action for a number of months following his latest defence of the World Tag Team Championships.

During the May 25 Raw, it was announced that Paul suffered a torn triceps in his match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Competing in the main event of the show, Paul and Austin Theory successfully defended the titles against The Street Profits.

Commentary then played a clip of the spot in question that caused the injury, which saw Angelo Dawkins dive onto Paul outside of the ring. This is the latest injury woe to hit The Vision. Bron Breakker required hernia surgery earlier in the year, which caused him to miss competing in a match at WrestleMania. Breakker returned from injury on the show, delivering a spear to Deth Rollins, allowing Gunther to capitalise. Bronson Reed suffered a torn biceps back in February and has been sidelined until further notice.

Paul won the tag titles with Austin Theory in late 2025, defeating The Usos on the final Raw of the year.

What’s Next For World Tag Team Championships Following Logan Paul Injury?

Following the update from commentary, a dejected Austin Theory met with Paul Heyman backstage. While Theory assumed that the titles would have to be vacated, Heyman informed Theory of his plan. As Heyman put it in The Vision’s contract that the faction are champions, any 2 members of the group can defend the titles. As such, Theory and Bron Breakker are now the reigning World Tag Team Champions.

The next segment saw Joe Hendry appear live and mock Paul for being injured. Austin Theory interrupted and attacked Hendry with a steel chair.
