The Women’s United States Tournament continues and more on WWE SmackDown.
Following the announcement by Nick Aldis that a Women’s United Championship match would be introduced in the near future, stars from SmackDown have been battling it out over the past few weeks to make WWE history. The semi-finals will take place on the show as Tiffany Stratton will take on Michin and Bayley will take on Chelsea Green. The winners will face each other at Saturday Night’s Main Event and the winner of that match will become the first-ever champion.
With Cody Rhodes set to defend the Undisputed Championship the next night, expect to hear from The American Nightmare on the show.
The show will also present the final build to Saturday Night’s Main Event, which has the following matches announced:
- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens – Singles match for the WWE Undisputed Championship
- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
- Bayley or Chelsea Green vs. Tiffany Stratton or Michin – Singles match to crown the first ever Women’s United States Champion
- Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
