A shake-up of the WWE rosters is coming!
As announced on the December 6th episode of SmackDown, a talent transfer window will be taking place soon and will see stars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT all able to switch brands if chosen by the respective General Manager. After Cody Rhodes opened the show, Chad Gable interrupted the Undisputed Champion and brought up that it was draft season. Michael Cole provided more information on the transfer window after the segment concluded, stating that all 3 General Managers were working together to bring new talents to their brand following the announcement.
Raw stars Gunther and Dominik Mysterio were seen talking to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis throughout the show. No further details on when or how the transfer window will work have been provided at the time of writing.
WWE Prepares For Major Netflix Move
Given that Raw will be premiering on Netflix on December 6th and will remain on the platform for the next 5 years minimum, it has been suspected that a shake-up could occur as Netflix wants the biggest stars on Raw to drive up subscriptions. Ahead of the launch, a media event was recently held at Netflix HQ with WWE stars and executives in attendance. At the event, WWE addressed technical issues and confirmed the age rating for Raw moving forward.
