The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continue on WWE Raw.
On the May 6th episode of Raw, the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments began with multiple first-round matches taking place. Victorious in the main event, Gunther advanced to the next round and will face off against either Rey Mysterio or Kofi Kingston. The other quarterfinal match will see recent call-up Ilja Dragunov face off against Jey Uso.
In the Queen of the Ring tournament, Lyra Valkyria will face off against Zoey Stark and Iyo Sky will face off against either Shayna Baszler or the reigning Queen of the Ring Zelina Vega.
The Following Matches Have Been Announced For WWE Raw:
- King of the Ring quarterfinal: Ilja Draguno vs. Jey Uso
- King of the Ring quarterfinal: Gunther vs. either Kofi Kingston or Rey Mysterio*
- Queen of the Ring quarterfinal: Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark
- Queen of the Ring quarterfinal: IYO SKY vs. either Shayna Baszler or Zelina Vega*
*Kingston vs. Mysterio and Baszler vs. Vega will take place at non-televised events the weekend before Raw.
