The full bracket for WWE King of the Ring has been officially announced.
At WWE Backlash, multiple first-round matches were announced for the tournament including the highly anticipated rematch between Gunther and Sheamus. On the May 6th Raw, first-round matches have also been announced for the SmackDown side.
On the May 7th Raw, Gunther defeated Sheamus, Ilja Dragunov defeated Ricochet and Jey Uso defeated Finn Balor. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio will take place at an upcoming live event.
The first round matches for the SmackDown portion of the tournament are as follows:
- AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
- Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes
- LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar
- Bobby Lashley vs. Tama Tonga
While not yet announced, multiple first round matches are expected to take place on the May 10th SmackDown
Updates From WWE Queen Of The Ring Tournament
Also on the May 6th Raw, multiple competitors advanced in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Iyo Sky defeated Natalya to advance, Zoey Stark defeated Ivy Nile to advance and Lyra Valkyria defeated Dakota Kai to advance.
