John Cena Confirms Plans For Final WWE Raw Appearance

John Cena has confirmed that his final appearance on WWE Raw will also see him compete in a match.

Providing an update to the fans on social media on Noveber 14, the 17-time World Champion stated that he will be in action on the show in what will be his 545th Raw match, more than anyone in the history of the promotion:

Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET!

Cena’s most recent match took place on November 10 on Raw, which saw him become a Grand Slam Champion by defeating Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship, the one title that has alluded him throughout his historic career. There has been no update as to who Cena’s final Raw opponent will be.

Cena also has the accolade of competing in at least one match a year every year since his main roster debut back in 2002 on SmackDown.

John Cena To Appear On WWE Raw One Final Time

The Intercontinental Champion will be appearing live on WWE TV one last time on November 17, with the venue of choice being none other than the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. After this date, Cena’s final 2 appearances and matches will be on November 29 at Survivor Series, and at December 13 for the final Saturday Night’s Main Event special of the year. Cena won his first championship in MSG abck in 2004, defeating The Big Show at WrestleMania 20 to capture the United States Championship.

Cena’s opponent for his final match will be the winner of The Last Time Is Now Tournament, which is currently ongoing. At the time of writing, Sheamus and Rusev have each advanced to the next round, with LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, The Miz, Jey Uso, Gunther and Je’Von Evans all confirmed to compete at a later date.
