Fight Factory Wrestling has made the announcement that the Tag Team Championships have been relinquished due to injury.
The Lincoln-based promotion made the announcement on social media on August 9 that The Maulers have had to vacate their championships due to injury, effective immediately.
Fight Factory also announced that new champions will be crowned at the Rise of Champions show at The Drill on Sunday, August 23:

Gunnarsson and Jason Morgan, collectively known as The Maulers, won the championships back in February at Steel Cage Showdown 4. The tag team defeated former champions Mike Raphone and Strap inside a steel cage. Their reign lasted approximately 6 months. The final defence took place at Blood and Iron, where Gunnarsson defeated Jack Maxwell and Ben Butcher to retain the FFW Tag Team Championships.
Fight Factory Wrestling Tag Team Championships Now Up For Grabs
New champions will be crowned at Rise of Champions, but no further details on how the champions will be determined have been provided at this time. The announced card for the August 23 show is currently as follows
- Rogan vs. Erin Jacobs
- Joey Slade will defend the FFW Heavyweight Championship
- Crook will defend the Academy Championship in an open challenge
- New Tag Team Champions will be crowned
