A major tournament will begin and more on the August 10 edition of WWE Raw.
Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against a luchador when Raw comes to Mexico in September. To determine Reigns’ opponent, eight luchadors will compete in a tournament over the next few weeks, which will see the winner become the new number one contender. The tournament will officially kick off on August 10 as Penta will take on Laredo Kid.
With Sol Ruca still having issues with the Judgment Day, she will be facing both Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in a tag team match. Ruca’s partner will be her own choosing.
Austin Theory is also set to take on Akira Tozawa following the events that took place last week. Theory looked to attack Jie Hendry after the Scottish star lost to Bron Breakker, leading to Tozawa making the save.
On last week’s show, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer both returned to WWE, setting their sights on Liv Morgan and the Women’s World Championship. Both Vaquer and Lynch are scheduled to appear live on the show.
