Darby Allin Could Be Back On AEW TV Very Soon

An update has been provided on AEW star Darby Allin, who has been away for a number of months, could be back on TV very soon.

The former Tag Team Champion has not competed since the Continental Classic in late 2024. The reason for Allin’s absence is that he took time away to climb Mount Everest. Making history with his ascent, Darby Allin became the first professional wrestler to complete the climb on May 18 and planted an AEW flag at the summit. Now that Allin is safely back down the mountain, wrestling fans are awaiting his return to the ring and pick up where he left off, which saw the former TNT Champion written off TV by being attacked by The Deathriders.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Allin was originally set to be a part of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, which concluded in late May at Double or Nothing and saw Adam Page defeat Will Ospreay in the final. While Allin did not make it back in time for the tournament, sources within the company expect to see the former Tag Team Champion back “imminently.”

Will Darby Allin Be At AEW All In?

With AEW’s biggest show of the year set to take place in Texas on July 12, fans are hopeful that Allin will be a part of the show in some capacity. Also noted in the report, sources claimed that they “would be shocked if he is not involved in AEW All In in some capacity.”

At the time of writing, creative plans for Allin remain unknown.
