Danhausen has a very nice, very evil WrestleMania 42 weekend in more ways than one, as he was a big hit in Las Vegas!
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Danhausen’s merchandise was the third highest of the event, being beaten by CM Punk at number one and Cody Rhodes at number 2. It should be noted that this didn’t include generic items such as replica titles and WrestleMania 42 branded merchandise.
Punk and Rhodes headlined each night of WrestleMania. The main event of night 1 saw Rhodes successfully defend his WWE Championship over Randy Orton, while Punk lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the main event of night 2.
What Did Danhausen Do At WrestleMania 42?
Although the recent WWE signing did not have a match at the biggest show of the year, he did have a memorable segment with a huge star. After WrestleMania host John Cena was interrupted by The Miz and Kit Wilson, Danhausen and a group of small wrestlers made their way to the ring. Danhausen eventually stood tall over Miz and Wilson, before failing to disappear in front of Cena when all was said and done.
Also at Mania, the WWE star saw one of his demands met as a blimp was flying around Allegiant Stadium.
Since arriving at Elimination Chamber, Danhausen has become one of the most popular acts in the company, and has remained undefeated with wins over Kit Wilson and The Miz on SmackDown.
